I am currently completing a content analysis of the Missouri State Standards using Critical Race Theory (CRT). I conducted a professional development workshop for K-12 teachers and counselors to train educators in applying CRT to lessons on race and racism, and aligning those lessons with the appropriate standards. This research was funded by the National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID). Read more about the project here.
I’m working on a book manuscript tentatively titled Queering Literacy & Numeracy for Social Justice, under contract with Palgrave MacMillan for the Queer Studies and Education Series.
